Enterokinase (EK) is a widely used serine protease that specifically recognizes the canonical DDDDK sequence motif and cleaves peptide bonds at the C-terminal side of the lysine residue. This product is a highly purified recombinant preparation of the bovine enterokinase light chain fragment, featuring extremely high purity and strict sequence specificity, free of contaminating protease activities, and maintaining cleavage activity across a working pH range of 4.5–9.5 and temperature range of 4–45 °C.
