Sortase A
Sortase A is a bacterial-derived transpeptidase that catalyzes transamidation reactions for precise, site-specific covalent attachment of functional moieties onto protein substrates.
Product Details
Sortase A (SrtA) is a bacterial-derived transpeptidase that serves as a critical enabling enzyme for antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) development, mediating transamidation reactions that support precise, site-specific covalent attachment of diverse functional moieties onto protein substrates. Its catalytic mechanism proceeds via recognition of a conserved peptide motif displayed on target proteins — most commonly the canonical LPXTG pentapeptide sequence, where X may represent any amino acid — followed by cleavage of the peptide bond between the threonine (T) and glycine (G) residues within the recognition motif.

Recombinant Kex2 Protease
This recombinant Kex2 product is produced via expression in Pichia pastoris and carries a His-tag. It exhibits efficient catalytic activity at pH 7.0–9.0 (optimal at 37 °C), retains high stability under mildly acidic conditions (pH 5.0–6.0), and is well-suited for manufacturing recombinant GLP-1 receptor agonist therapeutics and other polypeptide products.
